Philadelphia

We presented Last Good War at the Penn Bookstore on October 1. We were introduced by Penn Professor Thomas Childers, author of multiple WWII books (with beautiful long-winded titles) such as Wings Of Morning: The Story Of The Last American Bomber Shot Down Over Germany In World War II

We were thrilled to see most of the seats were filled with teenagers from a local high school.  I dont have very much experience speaking to this age group and I'll just say this--major props for high school teachers.  That's right, big sister Biba Kavass, you.  How do you keep their attention?
This class was very patient and asked excellent questions about subjects such as racial profiling during WWII--but it took a lot for us to keep their interest.

Later in the evening, we presented at the Chestnut Book Festival.  This is we would like to announce the best moderator award: Marciarose Shestack.  She made us feel like we were on the Oprah show, which I imagine would feel good.  Hmm, maybe we'll find out??
